Practical Systems for Working Land
We design, build, and improve infrastructure and equipment for farms, ranches, homesteads, and rural operations.
Decades of field experience in construction, fabrication, water infrastructure, machinery, agriculture, and project management inform how we approach every job.
Simple where possible. Custom where it earns its keep. Built for the real world.
Based in the Sierra Foothills, serving rural communities across Northern California.
We Consider the Whole Property
Water affects livestock. Fencing affects grazing. Equipment affects layout. Access and maintenance affects everything.
We look beyond the immediate job to how a system will be installed, operated, maintained, repaired, and eventually replaced.
We consider the whole property, even when we’re only working on one piece of it — working with the patterns already on the land rather than forcing a preconceived plan.
Rural Infrastructure & Site Development
Water systems, utilities, access, livestock infrastructure, fencing, and improvements for working land.
Water & HDPE Systems
HDPE pipe fusion, irrigation, underground piping, water distribution, and rural utility planning.
Metal Fabrication & Welding
Shop and mobile fabrication, repair, equipment modification, gates, and custom components.
Livestock & Grazing Infrastructure
Corrals, pens, feeding and handling systems, water, fencing, and infrastructure for managed grazing.
Gates & Fencing
Custom metal and wood gates, livestock containment, deer fencing, and site-specific fencing systems.
Project Planning & Coordination
Infrastructure layout, multi-phase sequencing, and integration between land, water, access, equipment, and buildings.
How We Design
We favor simple, robust, repairable systems that solve the problem without quietly creating new ones somewhere else.
We use gravity, natural processes, and existing resources before adding complexity. We choose materials and details that hold up under real operators and real conditions. Proven approaches where they work. Custom solutions where they earn their keep.
Good management is a feedback process: build, observe, measure, and adjust.
A system that only works because one unusually capable person can constantly rescue it is not a well-designed system.
Experience Beyond the Shop
Our background spans agricultural infrastructure, municipal pipeline construction, HDPE fusion, heavy equipment, fabrication, sawmilling, compost operations, and project management.
Rural problems rarely fit neatly into a single trade.
Sometimes the real job is not building the fence, welding the bracket, or installing the pipe.
It is figuring out what system should have been built in the first place.
